Ideal for the storage, transportation, clean up, and spill containment of larger containers (55-gallon or smaller)and constructed of 100% blow-molded high-density polyethylene with UV inhibitors for superior strength and chemical resistance, these salvage drums are nesting and meet 3 psi pressure test for salvage drum compliance. The lids feature a closed-cell foam gasket for a positive seal and a metal bolt band. Drums meet UN Rating HM-181 1H2/X340/S and performance requirements of DOT 49 CFR 173.3. 21 CFR 177.1520.
The open head salvage drum is constructed of high quality carbon steel and meets the UN design type requirements. Standard salvage drums feature yellow bodies with yellow or red covers and a multilingual salvage drum logo in red. Available salvage drum options include 3/4" vent plugs and corrosion resistant epoxy phenolic lining.
